Lucky Girls Media, Inc is owned by two Silicon Valley women entrepreneurs with over 20 years of combined experience in the industry.
ELIZABETH LARSON, CEO
Elizabeth Larson is a seasoned digital media executive with 20 years of experience spanning strategic business development, partner management and operations roles for startups and fast-growth organizations.
Elizabeth started her career at Genesys in 1996, the world’s #1 omni channel customer experience platform where she managed channel partnerships through an IPO and acquisition by Alcatel.
She would then go on to launch a startup online guide for event planners, which quickly collected 500 clients through her management of business operations, partner platforms, and content partnerships, and vendor marketing.
Elizabeth joined the Glam/Mode Media team in 2007 as the Director of Publisher Operations, where she worked with more than 10,000 publishers negotiating partnership agreements and licensing video content. She became a Vice President in 2014 and then Senior Vice President of Partner Strategy & Operations the following year, where she is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and optimizing the ongoing value of strategic partnerships and creating, launching and growing new lines of business for the company.
A native to Silicon Valley, Elizabeth uses her entrepreneurial spirit to lead business development efforts for Think Women – A Future Youth Records and V.I.N.Y.L. Campaign, which stands for Voices for Inspiring and Nurturing Youth Leadership.
In addition to her professional experience, Elizabeth is married to her high school sweet heart and has 3 adorable children
JULIETA ALVARADO, PRESIDENT
Julieta has over 15 years of experience in Digital Media, Affiliate Marketing as well as Market Research. She has had success at building publisher networks, affiliate and partner relationships.
Her background is in Market Research but in the year 2001 she discovered Digital Media and never looked back. She has worked at Adobe Systems and at Friendfinder Networks previous to Mode Media.
She started at Glam Media/Mode Media in 2006 as a Community Manager/Recruiter and rose to the position of Vice President, International Development and Operations. During this time she gained Extensive experience managing international operations and vendor relationships. She also oversaw the successful launches of Glam Media France, Glam Australia and Glam’s Hispanic channel.
Julieta is multi-lingual and a native of Caracas, Venezuela. She has lived in the US for over 25 years finishing her undergraduate work in Michigan and her MBA at the University Of South Florida and the University Of Paris, Dauphine.
In addition to her professional achievements, Julieta is married and has a 10 year old daughter who loves to travel as much as her mom does.
